Marc Weintraub
Founder
Marc Weintraub built his first company from nothing. Over thirteen years in Los Angeles, he and a business partner grew an entertainment company into one of the best in the city. Then he spent fifteen years in private banking and wealth management, living inside the systems that decide who gets trusted and why.
Two careers, one lesson. Nothing counts until it’s proven.
Marc trains every day. Three marathons, the most recent the 2026 LA Marathon. He’s been a UFC and boxing fan for decades. When he came back to Venice Beach, where he started, he stepped in himself, jiu-jitsu at Gracie Originals, boxing at JFM, to understand what fighters pay on the way to the top. And he walked back into Gold’s Gym on Hampton Drive, the same gym that’s been there since 1965. That’s where Performance Equity started, standing in a gym after a hard session, realizing an hour of real effort left no record anywhere, and neither did the years of climbing that athletes put in before anyone paid attention.
He founded the Foundation to close that gap. Backing for anyone willing to do the work. In his words: effort is opportunity, and it should count for something. This is my truth. This is my why. This is my life’s dissertation.
